Senior Finance & Accounting Specialist (Spanish Market)

We are looking for an experienced professional to take full ownership of the accounting processes for a Spanish legal entity.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an international environment, wants to have a real impact on financial processes, and is confident working across accounting and tax-related areas.

Location: Lublin, Poland | Hybrid model (2 days in the office, 3 days remote)

Employment Type: Employment contract (Umowa o pracę)

Salary: Approx. PLN 10,000 gross per month

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the full accounting processes for a Spanish legal entity

• Recording and verifying financial documents

• Performing month-end closing activities and preparing data for group reporting

• Managing tax processes and preparing required tax declarations

• Cooperating with auditors and handling audit-related inquiries

• Preparing annual financial statements

• Delivering reports in line with established requirements

• Maintaining process and control documentation

• Participating in business projects

• Collaborating with international stakeholders

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience

• At least 2 years of experience in financial and tax reporting

• Good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards

• Knowledge of Spanish accounting principles and tax regulations

• English proficiency at minimum B2 level, particularly in finance and accounting terminology

• Knowledge of Polish or Spanish (the second language will be considered an advantage)

• Strong MS Excel skills

• Independent, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach to work

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Oracle ERP

• Experience in financial reporting within multinational or group structures

• Previous experience in an international business environment

About the Project

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the full accounting support of a Spanish legal entity. On a daily basis, you will work closely with international teams, where English is the primary language of communication, while part of the documentation is maintained in Spanish.
