Prepress Specialist (European Design Center) - Assessment

Fuji Seal Poland Sp. z o.o. is a part of Fuji Seal Group, provides shrink sleeve labels, self-adhesive labels (pressure sensitive labels), spouted pouches and packaging machinery in a global scale.

Your main tasks will be

• Provide Technical analysis of a customer’s artwork/files:

• Discussion & agreement with NBD Team or Customer/Sales on work required to make customer files ready for production, if not already deemed suitable.

• Establishing efficient sequence & sharing of colours/cylinders within design range to maximize productivity during print process.

• Provide clear & concise instructions to Graphics operators (Internal or External) for reprographics work.

• Ensure that files received are in line with the agreed process in place with the customer.

• Ensure that colour proofs/targets supplied are correct & suitable for production, if no proofs supplied then ensuring proper targets are defined & consistent with new artwork.

• Provide accurate estimation of time required for Repro process & judgment on job complexity for the purposes of both Planning & artwork costing/charging to customer.

• Deal with customer/artwork suppliers queries on artworks/proofs as well as non-approval and amendment requests – including work & time estimation to complete.

• Liaison with manufacturing operations for Pre-production check queries & consultation with artwork issues found on press.

Job requirements

• Strong knowledge of print production and/or prepress operations. Ideally covering both rotogravure & flexographic print processes.

• Strong knowledge of Esko ARTPRO pre-press software.

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop/3D)

• Good understanding of colour science & related technologies/software.

• Knowledge/experience of shrink sleeve applications and requirements for packaging market related to graphic design.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Working Experience with both Mac & PC

• English must be fluent in verbal&written; fluency in additional European languages advantageous
