Opis
As the Payroll Manager for OLX, you will join a highly committed and dynamic international team. You’ll lead a team and will directly manage payroll responsibilities, including the preparation of the monthly payroll reports, coordination and audit of the payroll outputs with the support of an external payroll providers, preparation of journals, ad-hoc reports and making sure that we process payments in a timely and accurate manner. This role requires a high attention to detail, hands-on capabilities, the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and a passion for driving results and process improvements.
In your role, you’ll closely collaborate with key Corporate and Business functions with OLX to create and support strategic roadmap. You’ll need to align with HR Operations, HR Business Partners and Finance stakeholders as well as be a key point of contact for external payroll vendors, Naspers Share Trust team and Compliance team.
In a typical day at OLX, in the role of Payroll Manager, you will:
Act as a key advisor to executive leadership on payroll-related matters
Coach, lead, and focus on staff development. Ensure team members are kept informed of best practices and processing efficiencies.
Identify payroll goals and objectives for both internally and for external Payroll vendors
Track and analyse Payroll KPIs
Lead and participate in projects to continuously review and improve processes related to Payroll
Support and ensure alignment for HR and Finance initiatives which impact Payroll
Responsible for Payroll vendor management and Payroll function budget
Provide payroll data analytics to internal stakeholders and management
Manage internal and external payroll audits
Act as an escalation point for internal stakeholders on payroll related issues
Ensure timely and accurate monthly Payroll process and payments, preparation of Journal Entries and reports
What will you need to be successful in this role?
Experience in an international and fast paced environment
Dedication to delivering accurate and timely payroll while utilizing an in-depth knowledge and driving scalability and compliance
Proven strong record of process improvement and automation.
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
At least 8 years’ experience in a payroll role, leading Payroll operations with SSC model
Strong knowledge of payroll concepts and processes
Knowledge of Accounting, Tax and Finance areas that relate to Payroll
Strong knowledge and comfort with systems applications, including advanced functionality with Microsoft Office
Strong communicator, proactive and problem-solving mindset, team player
Very good English
