Your responsibilities:

• Conduct fuzz testing on industrial automation devices and communication stacks

• Develop and expand our internal fuzzing tool, implement support for new protocols, enhancing existing fuzzing modules

• Analyze protocol specifications and understand how frames, fields, and message structures are built

• Document findings, vulnerabilities, and test results

• Collaborate closely with development team

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, information technology or similar field

• Strong programming skills in Python (experience with tooling, automation or protocol handling is a plus)

• Very good knowledge of Linux, including command line workflow, system configuration, and debugging

• Excellent written and spoken English (min. B2 level)

• Practical experience working with communication protocols: understanding how protocol frames are structured, encoded, and transmitted

• Analytical mindset and interest in cybersecurity testing

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies

• Willingness to occasional business trips to HQ in Germany

Nice to Have:

• Experience with fuzzing frameworks or vulnerability research

• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profinet, EtherCAT)

• Basic understanding of embedded systems or industrial automation hardware
