Warehouseman and Forklift Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. 

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices. 

• Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and containers. 

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to schedules. 

• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock counts. 

• Store goods in an organized and accessible manner following warehouse layout. 

• Perform quality checks to ensure products are not damaged and meet company standards. 

• Assist with labeling, packaging, and palletizing products. 

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and work area. 

• Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 

• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies to the supervisor. 

• Perform additional duties as requested by supervisor, including manual lifting and general labor. 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:  

• High school diploma or equivalent. 

• Valid forklift operator license/certification is mandatory. 

• Proven experience as a warehouseman and forklift operator or similar role. 

• Knowledge of English language is a must. 

• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics. 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

• Basic computer literacy (experience with warehouse management systems is a plus). 

• Good communication and teamwork skills. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. 

• Commitment to safety and following proper procedures 

Physical Requirements:  

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 

• May require overtime, weekend, or holiday shifts depending on operational needs. 

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance 

• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions 

• Appearance and Grooming: Wear clean, neat, and appropriate clothing that reflects professionalism and aligns with the nature of the job and workplace. 

• Personal hygiene: Maintaining good personal hygiene is essential to uphold a professional image, ensure a clean and healthy work environment, and promote overall well-being. 

• Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using hands, fingers, and fine motor skills to operate equipment, perform tasks, or handle small objects.
