React Native Developer – 3 Month Contract

About The Role

Fourth Wall are recruiting a React Native developer to help create an app that will fill a necessary gap in our market and be used by potentially millions of sports fans around the planet.

You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development lifecycle from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.

Software you build and maintain will be used by clients and consumers worldwide and will have a real, measured impact within our industry.

Job title: React Native Developer

Location: Remote

Start Date: April 15th (provisional)

Work hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Full cycle app development

• Troubleshoot, test and maintain products and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle

• Follow industry best practices

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with React Native

• A track record of releasing successful apps onto both Apple and Google app stores

• Worked on, or created apps surpassing 10,000+ downloads

• Knowledge of API’s (JSON / REST/ SOAP)

• Key knowledge of app store development guidelines e.g. microtransactions, app approval

• Knowledge of standard development cycles e.g. Agile / FDD/ TDD

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in cryptography or ‘secure’ apps

• Experience of cloud hosting platforms e.g. AWS

• Knowledge of virtualisation or development containers e.g. Docker

• Knowledge of the football or ticketing industry
