Vacancysoft is the UK’s leading provider of labour market data and analytics. We provide high-grade lead generation, client intelligence, and market analysis solutions for the UK’s top recruitment industry firms and others.
Initially set up in 2006 as a bespoke market intelligence service, Vacancysoft since then evolved into the leading data analytics portal in the UK and is regularly featured in business media such as the FT, Reuters, Bloomberg and others. Our analysis of economic trends incorporating our proprietary data provides a unique perspective on the market.
Due to increased client demand, we are therefore seeking to recruit an entry level analyst to be responsible for our industry reporting. This is a perfect first job for someone who has studied Economics at University, and is interested in building a career as an Analyst of Labour Markets.
You will be reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications and trained by the CEO personally.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Learning our proprietary data structures and how they relate to the Labour Market
Creating data tables relevant to the reports being published and prepare the visualisation for the designer
Drafting long form (1200 words) reports against the data, using a PESTLE framework
Also creating short form insights (200 words) for social media
Perform other duties as appropriate
Minimum requirements:
Excellent English. Fluency is a prerequisite.
A university degree in Economics
Familiar with Excel, Google Sheets, SharePoint
Excellent organizational skills;
Willingness to continuously learn and develop skills.
