Reliable English-Speaking Home Helper / Caregiver — Warsaw Wola

I am looking for a dependable English-speaking person to provide non-medical help at home near Rondo Daszyńskiego and the Karolkowa tram stop.

The person receiving help is a 40-year-old man recovering from a spinal fracture. He can move around to some extent but currently has limited mobility. No nursing qualifications are required, and the work does not involve injections, wound care, or lifting the client.

Start: As soon as possible

Schedule: 2–4 visits per week, usually around midday. The exact time can often be agreed in advance.

Visit length: On average 2 hours.

Pay: 45–55 PLN per hour, depending on experience and references. A minimum of 2 hours will be paid for each scheduled visit. The first visit is fully paid at the agreed rate.

Tasks include

- Preparing simple food, tea, or drinks

- Laundry and changing bed linen

- Light household cleaning

- Shopping for food

- Taking out rubbish

- Simple errands or telephone calls

- Checking that everything is comfortable and in order

- Conversation or reading

- Occasional assistance with bathing or toileting

Personal-care tasks will always be explained clearly in advance. There is no lifting involved.

The right person should be

- Comfortable communicating in English and Polish

- Dependable, punctual, honest, and respectful

- Comfortable assisting a male client with everyday personal-care needs

- Able to follow instructions carefully

- Willing to communicate promptly if plans change

Previous experience in home help or caregiving is preferred, but a responsible person who learns quickly may also be suitable.

At least one reference will be required before regular work begins. Identification will be checked in person; please do not send a copy of your ID online. A simple written agreement will be provided.

The position may be short-term or medium-term, depending on the recovery process. Reliability is especially important, so please apply only if you can attend agreed visits consistently.
