There are moulded-in skids on the sides and top, the latter interlocking with the case above when they are stacked. Note that the SKB19-2U will only interlock with another SKB19-2U, and not the larger, deeper, types. At front and rear there is a metal frame with apertures for rack-mounting hardware; the lids mount onto these with ‘butterfly’ twist latches. Heavy duty handles provide a secure grip on either side of the deeper models.

Optional accessories: The SKB-1904 moulded castor board with 75mm locking wheels is suitable for stacking standard racks for convenient transportation. It engages with the feet of the lower case, and is held in place by parachute nylon straps. A spare hardware kit is available should fixing hardware be mislaid.
