I bought these professional monitors in 2022, they have been looked after well and are still in a very good condition. They were properly adjusted, following the guidelines, to only play sounds below the reccommended volume levels in the first 60 hours of playing, to let the wood and shell settle. This means they are ready to play when you plug them in. Apart from one small scratch at the bottom, on the edge, and a slight discolouration to the grain of wood at the top of the same speaker (see pictures) - there are no other visible signs of use. Both work well and have absolutley no loss of performance at any volume. The windows will start to shake before they do. The only limit is the room you put them in.
