Commentary:
A multi-drive 2-way speaker system designed to deliver 901 sound at a relatively low cost.
Two 20 cm cone-shaped units are used for the low range and four 7.5 cm cone-shaped units are used for the high range, each with an angle to create a unique layout.
The network employs a crossover network with bypass capacitor.
The structure of this network is such that the radiation energy of two of the four tweeters toward the outside is enhanced as the band becomes higher.
This Bose's unique asymmetric directional characteristics allow non-diffusive high-frequency components to spread throughout the room, creating a well-balanced and wide-spread sound field.
Depending on the installation site conditions, the output of the four tweeters can be switched to the same type (symmetrical type).
Bose 601 fits snugly against the back wall for a direct / reflective effect.
In addition, three of the six drivers radiate acoustic energy upward, so that a balanced sound field can be obtained even when placed near a sofa or table.
If there are no walls on the side, the control switch can be used to switch to the high-energy radiation pattern to obtain the correct balance.
