Doppel is a Foxx Tone Machine based pedal, which exhibits completely different potential than the original circuit. Some uncommon circuit tweaks bring a new approach to such a classic pedal. It's overall character is now heavy, huge sounding smooth fuzz, yet allows to reach loads of different tones.

Fuzz knob is a very effective gain control and enhances different range of mids throughout it's dial, with gentle low-end cut at minimum and super thick response at max (it works in kinda similar way to a wah pedal). This means it is an effective tone shaping tool with many sweet-spots and unique sounds.

Jolt knob lets undistorted low-end through and adds extra grit. With this control cranked it gets extra juicy and bold.

Tone knob works similar to BMP control, but it's voiced for substantial midrange boost to make it cut through any mix. Overall character is quite dark, yet tone knob will add some high-end aggressive rasp when necessary. There is also internal DIP-switch, which allows to cut some of that midrange or to set a deep mid-scoop, to even further extend amount of available tones.

Level knob provides lots of gain on tap so you can smash your amp even with lowest fuzz setting.

Octave switch engages octave mode and octave knob enhances this effect, what changes it's character from 'all the way' to more subtle or barely noticeable, with many useful settings across the dial. Octave itself is not as sweet and slinky as in other Foxx-based octave fuzzes. It's raw, mean and angry. With jolt turned up and octave even maxed, no low-end is sacrificed.

NO BATTERY OPERATION POSSIBLE WITH THIS PEDAL. Feed it only with standard 9V DC negative center power supply.

CONTROLS:
octave - octave up level (when engaged with left footswitch)
fuzz - controls amount of distortion and filter response
level - output volume level
jolt - CW adds undistorted low-end and extra dirt
tone - CW bright tone, CCW dark tone

INTERNAL CONTROLS:
two sections mid boost DIP switch - both up for a default midrange boost, '1' up only for a gentle midscoop, both down for a heavy midscoop ('2' up only doesn't make much difference compared to both up)
