My name is David I'm 39. I believe that a role of teacher is also to motivate by giving constant feedback regarding progress and continuous commendation. My way of teaching it's called the Communication Method which concentrates on quick progress and big steps. Using language like a tool and memorizing useful phrases from first minutes gives joy and confidence. We use games, funny gifs, music features and drills. Usually there is no need to pay more than necessary attention on a grammar.
Patterns of the grammar mostly are learned naturally which spares needless stress and confusion. The same way joy appears only naturally while discovering usefulness of mastering an art of communication.
